Hello!

If you are here for the first time welcome!, and also a big welcome to you my loyal followers. I would love to take a minute to express my gratitude for the amazing support I have been receiving on this amazing adventure learning and sharing what I do with all of you since I started out blogging. Just know I wouldn't have come this far if it weren't from the encouragement, inspiration and ongoing loyalty, also know I appreciate each and every one of you.

Today,I would love to share my "Happy happy Birthday" card!! This card is for Troy's mom, she is such a beautiful soul .

I used my new Recollections Cling on Stamps and Recollection flowers from my last haul at Michael's!! Isn't that elephant gorgeous?!!! 

I used a Martha Steward edge punch for the sides and the matching corner punch for the corners. I place pink 1' squares behind each corner.

 I tried my best to color and give it justice but I still cling to the thought maybe I am just not cut out to color but oh boys I find any challenge fun so you will have to watch me eventually morph into a great color-er. (Is that even a word? mmm?)

Quick Ideas

*Color first... fussy cut her and find a party hat sticker the right size and put it on her, you would even use twine to wrap as the strap... now   a birthday sentiment and you got yourself a great birthday card 

OR

 print her on card stock, color her and add a few hearts and sentiment for a Valentine's card!

Mini Paper Bag Album

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!! Michael was at his best for he got to see Alex, Coralee's son.
Coralee and I got a chance to catch up and really enjoyed our time together. 

Today I am showing you a paper bag album that I started before I moved my craft room, it got misplaced therefore forgotten about but as I was digging through my boxes in the basement I found it and decided to finish it! I will be filling this album with pictures of Michael.
I didn't take a picture of every page but you get the idea!


I inked all the pages with brown black distress ink along with the tags that each have a flower added to the top so they can be easily pulled out. The tags are also inked on both sides. Tags are fantastic to add a journal or pictures! I don't remember where I found the paper bag tutorial because it has been too long but there are many on youtube!

Each page has flaps and slots to add tags, tickets etc.This makes the album fun for whoever is looking at it!

Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Fridays, usually because I get to have Michael home but he has been home with me all week fighting a cold... he only lost one night's sleep and we have been happy go lucky since. 
My friend Coralee has landed on the Island today for a home visit and guess where she is staying!!!!!!!!!  Yep!!! right here and I am so excited. (Can't you tell!!!!)

Today I am sharing a card I made to thank a very special lady, she was Michael's Teacher Assistant last year but since the car accident she has been driving Michael back and forth to school. I want her to know that she is very much appreciated.

I hand drew the flower and stamped it with a wooden cloud pattern and inked it around the edges with Tim Holtz Black Distress ink, I crumpled it and also lightly inked over the top then added a flower in the middle. 

I would have said more about how I made the card but my friend just called and is on her way right now!!!!!!!!! eeeek!
