Freebie - "Bobby's Bo-Bo"

Hello everyone.  It is Lisa here to provide you with this week's freebie.   Now there were only two guesses this week about what the sneak peek may reveal and I don't have a clue how she did it but Ike managed to figure out just what the image was. So, Ike please EMAIL ME with the subject "BOBBY'S BO-BO" and I'll send off a digital paper I've created.

And without further ado here he is...

Now Bobby has been in the store for quite awhile lurking around under the name 'Hurt Toddler'.  He was tired of not receiving any attention for his hurt knee and caterwauled until I brought him out to get some loving attention from all of you wonderful ladies.  You know how terrible toddlers can be.  Anyways, now is your chance to give this little guy some love.

To get this week's freebie, just left click on the image to bring it up in its full size, then right click and choose 'save as'.

Now I was fortunate that two of Naomi's entourage had some extra time in their schedules to help out and make a card showcasing this annoying little monster sweet little boy (seriously you should have heard the racket he made.)

So this week we have Jennifer S. from Krafty Keepsakes showing us one way of using this image in a card...

Didn't she do a wonderful job?  I just love his little alphabet towel and the really interesting shapes she has chosen to use as a backdrop behind Bobby.  If you would like to see the details on this card you can head on over to Jennifer's blog.

Suze from Craftysuze also decided to help us out this week by sending in this card...

Another sweet version showcasing Bobby's Bo-Bo.  I really love that Paisley paper.  I have some myself that I'm itching to use.  The sentiment is a perfect accompaniment.  If you would like to see the details on this card you can head on over to Suze's blog.

Now on the slight chance that some of you have already received this image as a freebie in the past, I wouldn't want you to walk away empty handed, so, if you would like to head over to my blog HERE, you can pick up a free sentiment that matches the tone of this image.

Well folks, that wraps it up for another Tuesday.  Thanks for stopping by everyone and a very special thank you to Jennifer and Suze who pitched in to help me out by creating wonderful cards to showcase Naomi's fabulous freebie.  Now, same as last time, if one or two of you have the time and would like the opportunity to work with one of Naomi's digis and have your project displayed here on Naomi's blog, please contact me and I'll get next week's freebie off to you as soon as I can.  See you on Saturday with next week's sneak peek.

Baby Boy and Girl Cards using Cricut

Good Morning!!!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend, I took it easy watching movies and went to my sister's place for a relaxing BBQ... During the cooking stage with flames flying high and smoke as thick as factory smoke I said to Norma, " Do you think maybe we will end up ordering out?" She had two words for me,
"Have faith" ...
To my surprise, even as I write this everything came out totally flawless, the perfect amount of tenderness to the aspargus, potatoes, brussel sprouts and red onion and not one burn mark!!!!  The steak was melt in your mouth delicious!!! I still don't know how she did it for the evidence of the cooking process says I should have been eating ash.

June 30th, here on the Island they are having a Women in Business Trade Show and I have my table claimed. I have lots of cards already done so I am well ahead, I also have my business cards designed and  bought and June 30th will be the first day I get them out. I plan on having my own little shop here in Souris down the road. So exciting hey??

Today I want to show you two baby cards I made yesterday!

I made the cute little animals with my Cricut using the "New Arrival" cartridge and I used
Alley Way  "Alphabet Soup" stamps
I love the little critter's googly eyes , this month I missed out on my DT assignment for
2 creative chicks and their theme is "Googly Eyes",
so maybe if I particpate in the challenge itself I figured it would be a nice make up!

2 Creative Chicks has a challenge every month with fun themes. To particiate go

I will be away for the next couple of days for the time has come for Michael to have his MRI, this MRI will determine if the damage is stemming from his back rather then his achilies tendons , cross all your fingers that in the fall Michael will only have to have the achilles tendons operated on in both feet rather than something more extensive, I would appreciate lots of prayers and positive thoughts...
Have a great day my peeps!!!
I will keep you updated as I am bring my computer!
Hugs

Elegant Card /Learn to make a Corrugated Trellis!

Good Morning, Good Morning, it's one hec of a morning,
If tommorrow's as good as this mornin
It'll  be one hec of a mornin!!!
(Now say that as fast as you can!!!!)

Today I am feeling great and I feel like shouting it out to the whole world, yesterday I made a very elegant card with a whole lot of intricate and I am soooo excited to show you!

I used Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles and followed a tutorial by the lovely
Chistina over at
Flowers Ribbons and Pearls
called
Filigree Hinged Cards
Learn to hinge two diecuts together using your Grand Calibur,  you don't want to miss this, it is such a brill idea!!!
Go Here for the tutorial

How to make a Corrugated Trellis

To make this trellis, take a piece of card board and strip away the outer paper on both sides so just the coragated paper is showing. (It can be a fussy job depending on the card board you are useing but it is worth it), then cut  into strips

Sizes For Strips
1 @ 3" (Vertical center strip)
2 @ 2 7/8" Vertical strips)
2 @ 2 6/8" (Vertical outer left and right strips)
1 @ 2 1/2  (Top Horizontal strip)
1 @ 2 " (Bottom Horizontal strip)

Cut 2 @ 1" by 3/4 " for the base of the trellis
Be sure to cut the strip ends on an angel and line them up as shown in the picture.

The blue flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the small flowers on the trellis are from Recollections.

Have a super fabulous day!!!
