Graduation Personalized Card and Box

Hello!
Well the sun has been shining on Prince Edward Island all week, I am absolutely delighted and thankful especially when I think of the extreme weather in so many places.
Today I am showing another Graduation card I completed for an order and the image will be quite familiar   as I have used it for at least 9 cards. I take the original image into Photoshop and personalize it by adding a name to the certificate,  everybody loves it!

I used Punch around the Page by Martha Stewart, I kept the package so I could give you the name but I couldn't find it ... something lace...does anyone know the name?
I used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts topped with Stickles from Rangers

And of course I used my Grand Calibur for the dies, Scallop Circle and Foilage

I made a box for this special occasion with a scallop window using acetate and lots of bling. It is actually called Trim which I found off Island in a dollar store.

Have a great day!!!

Challenge #3: Out with the Old and In with the New

First off, a big thank you to everyone who joined us for the last challenge.  When all was said and done we had a total of 13 entries!  Woo, hoo!  The winner for that challenge will be announced in a separate post next Wednesday, so if you entered, you'll have to come back then to see if you were our lucky winner or placed in our Top Three.  I'm so excited that we had enough entries to have a Top Three!

Right now it is time to announce the details for our new challenge starting today!

We hope that you will join in the fun!

Challenge Details

Once again we will be offering up a new image for free that you can use to enter the challenge.  You don't have to use the designated freebie on your project but you MUST use a Creative Bug Digital SnapShots image.  So, if you have some past freebies that would work for the theme, you can go ahead and use them.  Of course, you can purchase an image from the Creative Bug Digital SnapShots store for your creation as well.  Click HERE to head to the store.  Naomi has also added four oldie but goodie freebies to the freebie page that you can also use.  You can find those images HERE.

The theme for this month is  Out with the Old, In with the New.  Spring is the time of the year when many of us do a little cleaning and get things spruced up so that we can enjoy the summer once it finally arrives. So, it is time to get rid of the old stuff and make way for the new.  For this challenge we want you to use something from your stash that you have had for quite a while PLUS we also want you to use something new in your project.  Old and new items can be papers, embellishments or even one of your tools, etc. Make sure to let us know somewhere in your post, specifically what old and new items were used.

The challenge will run June 4 – July 1.

Winners will be announced in a separate post on July 9th

Let me introduce you to this month's free image...

Sunny Sarah is doing some cleaning of her own.  Now that the nicer weather has arrived in her hometown, she is finally able to hang up the laundry outside again to get that fresh spring smell and of course save some energy too!

Click HERE to get "Sunny Sarah" available until June 29th, in the freebie section of the store.

Now before we continue, it is time to announce the winner of the Saturday Sneak Peek.   I have no clue whatsoever how she did it but...
  KT Fit Kitty
...guessed a basket of laundry.  So, Kitty, I know you were hoping that there would be a cat on top of the laundry basket but since there isn't, I've done the next best thing and created another cat paper for you which you can see in the preview below.
Kitty, please contact me by sending an email to:  CBD_winclaims {at} outlook {dot} com (or by clicking HERE to bring the address up in your email program) with the subject Sunny Sarah Sneak Peek Winner and I'll send you your paper.

Now as promised, here is some inspiration from the team to get you motivated. Team Bugalug worked with the freebie for the start of the challenge.

Hopefully that will help provide you with the inspiration to get your creative juices flowing!  Clicking on the individual bugs will take you to each DT member's blog to check out the details of their projects.  This is where you'll also be able to find out what items each team member used that were old and new.  Our team members work very hard to inspire you, so please go and see them if you can.

Challenge Rules

Just like in all challenges, there are a few rules to follow:
  • As stated earlier, you must use a Creative Bug Digital SnapShots (CBD) image to enter the challenge.  Entries that do not have a CBD image anywhere on them, will be removed without notification.
  • You are allowed to also include additional images or sentiments from other artists in your creation.
  • You must follow the theme for the specific challenge.  For this month it is OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW.  For specific details, please see above.
  • You are allowed to enter a variety of projects as long as they use a CBD image and adhere to the theme, i.e., cards, tags, digital design, artwork, mixed media creations, candles, etc.  The ideas are as boundless as your imagination.
  • You are allowed to link up a total of three projects.  Each one must be unique and part of a different post.
  • New projects only, no backlinking.
  • You are welcome to combine your entry with other challenges.
  • Please link your project post to the challenge blog, not your entire blog link.
  • Please include a link back to this blog in your entry post.  If you don't know how to create a link, make sure that you at least include our blog address in your post so that others can find us.
  • Email entries will be accepted if you don't have a blog.  Please submit them to: CreativeBugDigis {at} outlook {dot} com (just be sure to replace 'at' and 'dot' with the appropriate symbols).
  • The challenge will be open just under four weeks and will end at 6:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, July 1st.  Please note the time change from the last challenge.
  • Please, consider turning off word verification. Word verification is time consuming and when you have it on it takes everyone longer to leave a little love and unfortunately our team members do not have the extra time to waste. So please turn off word verification if you want us to leave a comment. We hope that you understand.
  •  We reserve the right to remove any entry that does not meet the concept of the challenge or rules.

Prizes!!!

Along with a brand spanking new freebie each month, you will get the opportuntiy to win:
  • Five digital images from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for a person chosen in a random draw based on all eligible entrants.
  • A top three will also be chosen (as long as there are a minimum of seven people entering). Each person in the top three will also get to choose an image from the store.
  • Additional prizes may be added, you just never know!

Join Us!

We can't wait to see what you come up with!

I'll be back with the winner and Top Three from Challenge #2 next Wednesday and then we hope to see you again on June 18th for our midway post when the team will be by with more wonderful creations to inspire you.
