Simple "Baby Boy's" Album

Well hellooo!!!!

Remember me, hehe! I have missed you all so much but let me tell you I am enjoying my job tremendously!! It is so nice to get back out into the world where smiles are constantly changed, where people are genuinely curious about how you are . Everything within my being shouts that I did the right thing by taking this job, I am a new person!

I want to thank you all for your continual support on my blog, you guys rock. You have taken Lisa into your arms as well and for that I am most grateful.

So today I want to share with you a Baby Boy's Album I quickly put together, I also made a box to go with it, it will be a gift for a friend of mine who had a baby several months ago...yes I am behind but I am sure that will change when I get used to my new job, I am still learning sooo much.

It may be hard to tell but I used  silver mirror card for spellbinder's scalloped rectangle diecut.
I also used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts,
The car stamp is from Alley Way Stamps and the
buttons are from Paper Made Bakery

To Make this album was pretty simple because I have special  cardstock bought with scorelines already in them.

Paper is from Crafter's Companion

Get a load of this!!!!!!  ...every evening Michael asks me if I want to go on the deck and watch the sunset with him when the sky is this color, isn't it gorgeous!!!!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!!!!

Freebie - "Birthday Baking Lessons"

Hello everyone!  It is Bit By the Bug day.  Know any little boys about to have a birthday?  Well, then this freebie is perfect for you.

As it turns out no one offered up any guesses for this one.  I think I managed to swat Ike's spy fly in the office.  Bwahahahah.  So, since no one figured it out, I guess it is time for the big reveal.

Today we offer up, "Birthday Baking Lessons":

Click HERE to get "Birthday Baking Lessons".  Available from June 18th until July 1st.
After that it will be replaced with another freebie.

Nathan has been experimenting in the kitchen again.  This is what happens when Mom is on shift work sometimes.  His intentions are always good but he does have a tendency to make a mess of things.  Right now he is spending time with his grandma learning how to make his mom a birthday cake.  Problem is he has tuckered grandma all out and she is having a little snooze on the couch.  That of course leaves Nathan all alone in the kitchen trying out different techniques on his own.  Not sure he has quite got the idea that the cake batter is actually supposed to go in the oven and not on the top of his head.  Well, one thing is for sure; mom will definitely be surprised!

Now Jennifer from Krafty Keepsakes was able to help show off this cute little man and created this card for the occasion...

I love how she has made the batter dripping down three dimensional.  It really adds something special to the card don't you think?

Suze from Craftysuze was also able to help us out and created this sweet card...

Another great job and what a clever idea to make this card for a three old based on the three candles on the top of the bowl.

Special thanks to Jennifer and Suze for their contributions this week.  I'm hoping to get our DT call up real soon.  Stay tuned for details.

Well that is it for today. Thanks for stopping by everyone!  I look forward to visiting with all of you again on Saturday when I'll be back with a sneak peek of the new release coming out on Thursday, June 27th.    .
