Mother's day Card using Cricut Cartridge "Cindy Loo"

If you are looking for New Beginnings Celebration Challenge go HERE... this challenge is happening throughout the whole month of March, we are very excited with the image requests so far and can't wait to see you all link up! Don't forget to leave a comment if you want to win one of our fab prizes!!!

Hello and thank you for visiting today!!!

I want to show you a card I made for Mother's Day! It may seem far off  but not if you are a busy crafter eh? This card has a lot of dimension so I plan to sell it locally.

I used Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge for every layer except the heart doily.. The images used are "Doily"on page 68, I used the Shadow for the bottom 2 layers, size 5" and  4 3/4", then used the "Doily" for the intricate cut @ size 4 1/2"

On the inside I tore the edges  on both corners opposite from each other and tucked cheese cloth underneath , then rolled the paper back using my fingers.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts , I love these colors together!... and the hat pin is from Christina over @ Flowers Ribbons and Pearls.  I also tucked in a few spellbinder leaves and curled the stems of the flowers.

I used a bow and feathers to finish it off which gives this card the soft look which makes it perfect for Mother's Day.

Speaking of Doily's,  last week I went to a restaurant in my home town and started talking crafts with the waitress, I happened to mention the doily's used under the Gravy dish , they were so small and pretty.. I braved it and asked is there any way I could get some when the next order goes in, then I said unless of course the manager wouldn't agree...little did I know she was the manager and she was more than happy to oblige me! I got a call this evening and it took me a whole 2 min's to get there. I paid 14.50 for them and have enough to last me a life time!  So be brave.

Have a AWWWE - SOME Day!!!

Winner Announcement of Latest New Release: Budding Love

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry that I am running a bit late today getting this out but I have been working all afternoon on making sure everything is all set for our challenge which starts tomorrow.  More on that in a moment.

First it is time to announce the winner of the last new release.  Since our regular format is changing up to accommodate our month long challenge, I had said last week that I would announce the winner in a special post today.  In order to have your name in the running to win a copy of Budding Love, I had wanted you to think of one person that means a lot to you and then to tell me one special thing about them.  Five people answered.  I was extremely touched that each of you shared such incredible stories of love.  Thank you so much for that.  There is lots of love out there and it is nice to see.  Now, I might get fired again but I have decided that each of the five people who responded will get a copy of Budding Love.  No random draw this week!  Now for my turn to share.  It was eerie how much I have in common with one of you.  The person I love most in this world is my amazing husband.  He is 17 years older than I am.  We were never blessed with children but have always stood by and supported each other through the many trials that we have had to face in our 24 years of marriage (soon to be 25!).  When I became disabled he became my rock and helped to lift me out from a very bad place.  Even though technically he is a year from the normal retirement age, he continues to go out and work to take care of us and will continue to do so until he is no longer capable.  He takes care of me and does so much to take care of our home since I am no longer physically able to.  He puts up with me and my crafting and blogging and never complains because he wants to see me happy knowing I have found a sense of true worth and meaning after over 12 years without feeling any purpose.  He is by far the most incredible man I have ever met and there are no words to express just how much I love him.

So, the following people have won a copy of the last new release, Budding Love...

KT Fit Kitty
Sue K.
April R.
Edwina
Kimberly

Ladies, please contact me by clicking HERE with the subject heading 'Budding Love' to get your copy.  It might take me a few days to get back to you, so I appreciate your patience.

 Don't Forget...

Tomorrow we celebrate the relaunch of Creative Bug Digital SnapShots and are having our very first challenge to celebrate.  We hope that you will come and join us.  You will find all the details you need to participate in tomorrow morning's post.

See you then!!!!!

Celebrate!

Happy Monday Everyone!!

I dropped in again to show a card I made for "Send a Smile 4 Kids"

This card will be going to one of 8 hospitals, if you participate be sure to read the guidelines for sending cards unlike me which can be found on the tab on top of the page, I added sequins which is a no no due to choking hazards if the card were given to a young child. Thankfully these can be easily removed without ruining the card or they may just give it to a nurse instead!

You have until Friday March 14th at noon CST to enter this challenge.

I used my own digital image (colored version) which can be found HERE.

So I hope you are all excited because there is only 2 days left until the
 "New Beginnings Celebration Challenge"
I can't wait for you to see my new releases and can't wait for all the fun to begin! This month long challenge will bring surprises along the way so be sure to drop in if you don't want to miss out on a freebie or more chances to win the bigger prizes!!!
If you have decided to join the party, don't forget to add your name to the list by joining my

Have a super Monday!

Spread Your Wings And Fly

Hello Everyone!

I am dropping in this evening to show you a card I made for the " I feel the Love Project" for March.

Isn't this image the sweetest!!!! I bought it a while back from Mo's...You can get six stamps for $10 -- You get three baby fairies and three bugs and they are all just as adorable!

Madelyn's Story:  Copied from   "I feel the Love project blog".

When a jar filled with cash was stolen from a restaurant in a small Central California town, the restaurant owners and customers were shocked and dismayed. This was not an ordinary jar sitting on the counter for the purpose of leaving a tip – this was a special jar, filled with heartfelt notes and monetary donations for a very special little girl, 6-year-old Madelyn “Maddy” Gonzales, our

I Feel the Love Project March 2014  card recipient.

Diagnosed in the fall of 2013 with acute lymphocytic leukemia, Maddy often travels with her family – mom, dad, and older sister – for treatments. The stolen jar of cash, filled with donations from community members, would have helped to offset some of the expenses incurred by the family.
“I was sad when I found out,” Jessica Gonzales said. “Just to know that there’s people out there that would do something like that. I’m not naive, and I know things like this happen, but when it directly affects my daughter, well, it’s just sad.”

I hope you join in !!!
Have a great evening!
