Too Cute to SPOOK!!!

Hello all! Thanks for visiting today!

We are mid-way for our "Spark your Creativitity , Anything goes Challenge" over at Pin and Tack , this is our first ever challenge and this is just a friendly reminder that we still have lots of time to get those projects in!!!!
We would love to see them!!

If you have been following you know that I have been making cards for the "I love you Project", this will be my third card and my favorite so far!  Madison only needs 26 more cards to reach her goal... lets help her reach it!!!!!!

  • I used my own pumpkin digital and glossed it over with liquid embossing for paper... I colored it with regular colored pencils for I didn't have these colors in Spectrum Noir ...
  • I also used what looks like an onion bag only it is a muscle bag that I found on the beach  and took it home and washed it...  I also found blue , red and yellow!!!!!
  • I stamped the leaf with a wooden stamp, wrinkled it and used brushed corduroy distress ink  and  pine needles by Tim Holtz and Almohadilla de Tinta by Marvy Matchables.
  • I used "Too Cute to SPOOK!" sentiment from CardzTV stamps called "More Spooky sayings"

Sorry this digital has been removed, you can buy this digital in my online store (Creative Bug Digital's) for just $1.00!!

Friends/1st Quilling Project!

Happy Monday!!!

Thank you for dropping by today!

I am so excited I received a Quilling tool all the way from England from my bloggy friend Wendy over at " Spanish Crafter"!  I have had an interest in Quilling for quite some time but could never find a quilling tool and Wendy was ever so generous to pick one up for me in London while visiting her new granddaughter..(a real cutie!!!)

I have never even read anything about quilling and to be honest it looked complicated so I prepared myself by doing the self talk... I wanted to dedicate time to learning this awesome skill so off I went to my favorite place "Youtube" and found a tutorial on the basics!

To my surprise quilling is not as hard as it looks!!!! Yes I have much to learn especially getting the right size and learning different shapes but Gosh it is so much fun you don't think of that stuff straight away, lol... well, I didn't ...

Here is my card and I will be entering it into  " 3 Girl JAM Challenge: Ribbon Flowers"

My ribbon flower is quite small so I hope this counts.

But take a look at my first quilling project!!!!

New Typewriter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at the awesome deal I got at a yard sale on Saturday!

I couldn't believe my eyes...  it was only used a couple of times, I had to ask if there was a mistake, I love bargins and this one felt as if I won the lottery for I have been wanting one for about 5 years! The universe is giving me everything I want!  (okay, not everything)

Have a fantastic Monday!!!!
