HIMCR #67 - Super Scraps Saturday challenge.

So it's that time again! The HIMCR design team's challenge this Saturday is

"Super Scraps Saturday Challenge"

which means it is time to clean up those scraps!

My project for this challenge is a 3D Pumpkin that I seen over at "My Craft Spot" Kimberly has put together a video for us, they are so much fun to do!

Sorry I haven't been to you blogs as much as I would like... I have really important things going on right now but not to worry, I am ok.... I won't be posting anything this week but I will try and get out to visit all of you!!

Shaped Autumn Card

Hello!!!! 

I decided I would play around and come up with my own shaped card! I used 8 Spellbinders Nestabilities Big Scalloped Squares and just lined them up and glued them as shown in the image below! I know you can only see 7 squares but the 8th one was folded and scored in three different places and put between the cards to hold to join them... this way it gives it a 3D view from the top.

 

I also used Spellbinders shapeabilities Anemone Flower Topper to create the flower in the center of the card, I then inked it with Marvy Matchables " Almohadilla de Tenta"  and Tim Holtz  "brushed corduroy" distress ink to create an autumn feel to it.

 

I sprayed the whole card with my own homemade clear shimmer mist .

Free Thanksgiving Digital (sweet girl praying)

Hi, Welcome back!

 What an incredible Thanksgiving weekend it is in PEI Canada!!! I am so thankful for all my loyal followers that I am giving away a free digital for the whole month of Oct and Nov!!!!  I have 250 followers!! Whoo Hoooo!!!!

As you know I am building a Website with Dreamweaver (using my Web Developing Skills finally) and guess what!!!! I am nearly finished!!! I am going to give myself a nice pat on the back when it is complete because if you don't know about creating a website , it takes a lot of commitment and time and surprisingly I was able to keep up with blogging!!
 This digital will also be free in my new online store which I am guessing will be next week unless I messed up somewhere along the way..(Hope not!!)  I have a few finishing touches then I have to buy a domain which will be hosted by Hostgator... can't wait!!!

I will be very busy this week but I am going to try my best to visit all of you!!!
