Masculine Easter Card "Son"

Happy Thursday!!!!

If you have been following me you know that my hardest challenge is making a masculine card, as well I couldn't add too much dimension which is another big challenge for me!!!!, (the buyer of this card will be mailing it so she didn't want it to cost too much.)

I placed homemade SKITTLES on the lace down the left side so it would'nt  appear too girly, these Skittles are made by Carrie from Double Click AKA A Busy Bee
They went perfect with my vintage theme and they are only tiny, (Big Bonus)

Here is my card
Easter Greetings by Katherine Smith

I brighten this image to see if you could see all the shimmer and shine but it didnt' work, (pout, pout)

This Saturday I am having my first  "New Release", I hope you drop by!

Have a FABULOUS day!

This card turned out beautiful Naomi, absolutely beautiful. I'm sure the buyer will love it. You did a wonderful job of keeping it masculine. Question though...I thought skittles were food? Hmmmmm.....

Hugs,

Naomi, this is absolutely beautiful! What an astoundingly gorgeous image.. and you've designed around it perfectly. How lovely are those skittles and I love every element. This will be loved by the buyer and the recipient. :o) Fantastic work conquering themes that don't come so naturally. :o)

Absolutely gorgeous! But, I have to ask, what on earth are skittles? I was looking for those things that you bowl (I nearly wrote bowel omg) down with a ball in a bowling alley. Are they sequins?
The vintage feel to this is beautiful, and I really like the way you enclosed the 'son' title at the top on an angle - precious plus!
