Challenge #5--Child's Play...Midway Post

Hello and welcome to the midway post for Challenge #5.  Don't forget that we have changed things up and You are no longer required to use a Creative Bug Digital SnapShots image in your project.

We'd love it if you would, and there is extra incentive for doing so but it is no longer a requirement.  If you do enter using a CBD image, you can enter as many times as you would like.  If using another company's image, then you will be limited to three entries.  Additionally, if you use a CBD image, you will receive an extra chance for winning the main prize.

You have lots of options if you'd like to increase your odds of winning.  You can work with this month's designated free image or if you have some past freebies that would work for the theme, you can go ahead and use them.  Of course, you can purchase an image from the Creative Bug Digital SnapShots store for your creation as well.  Click HERE to head to the store's homepage.

Along with this month's designated freebie...

...you can also find three other previously released images in the freebie section that would also work well for this month's theme.  Check them out...

You can find all the free images HERE.

Remember that while you can choose ANY image from ANY artist, your card must fit the theme to be eligible for the prizes.

This time around, Team Buggaloo worked with the freebie that was given out at the start of the challenge, Malia Manchester (see above).

For her project, Judith used the image Hallie Hippo.  You can find this image in the Special Occasions section of the store, under Valentine's.  Clicking on the watermark will take you to the proper section.

Suze chose to work with the image Hooty Hoo.  You can find it in the store in the Fun Critters section.   Clicking on the watermark will take you to the proper section.

That should certainly help to get you in the frame of mind for working on a child's card!  Clicking on the individual bugs will take you to each DT member's blog to check out the details of their projects including who the child is that they made their creations for and how old they are.   Our team members work very hard to inspire you, so please go and see them if you can.

Challenge Details

Don't forget the current challenge is running September 3rd – September 30th, with the theme of Child's Play where you must create a project meant for a child (ages 0-18).  Don't forget to let us know the relation the child is to you (your own child, a grandchild, niece, nephew, cousin, child of a friend, etc.) and their age in order to be eligible to receive the prize.  For further details on the theme, please check out the original challenge post (link below). Winners will be announced in a separate post on October 8th. We eagerly await to see your creation over on the link up.  Remember you do not have to use a Creative Bug Digital SnapShots image on your project but your project must follow the theme.  Of course there are some more general rules which you can find when you scroll down to the bottom of the original challenge post (link below).

I'll be back before the end of September to share some changes with our DT and then again on September 30th, if everything goes according to plan, to bring you a sneak peek of the next challenge freebie.  I hope you will be able to join me.  Then, challenge number six will get underway on October 5th.  See you all soon!
