Contributing to the Royal Blog Hop Cause

I have been touched in a profound way today, I visited my friend Kristal over at " Getting Cricky with K Andrews and reading her story and the many replies from each blog I found there is an amazing endurance and strength out there!!!

Sadly there is also the other side where About 4.8 million intimate partner-related physical assaults and rapes occur every year while many more assaults and rapes go unreported entirely. Over 3 million children witness violence in their home each year and those who see and hear violence in the home suffer physically and emotionally. These statistics are sad and overwhelming, but help IS out there for those that choose to break the silence.

Together we can make a difference! Help us instill some hope where very little probably exists and give 24 families a chance at recovery when we are able to donate 1k dollars to the Bradley Angle House. Your purple themed card(s) with a hope filled message inside could make all the difference, not to mention give YOU a chance to win the grand prize for this hop...what is it you ask? A prize basket valued at more than $100.

Want more chances to win the grand prize? Additional entries will be given for each $1 donation you include with your card. Would you prefer 1 entry, 10 entries, or is 100 entries more of what you had in mind? It's all up to you! Cards must be postmarked by June 30th for inclusion in basket drawings and can be mailed to the following address:
Royal Purple Hop
c/o Vicki Smith
P.O. Box 1496
Millbrook, NY 12545

I will be making 2 cards to send to these survivors and am really happy I can contribute to such a remarkable cause.

Initially I was going to sell the card below but where it has purple on it and a beautiful message I thought this would be one that I could send... I may alter it a little more to suit the cause. I will post my next card when done.

If you would like to be touched the same way I did, visit these wonderfully talented ladies! More so read the comments, it will be an awakening as to how much violence goes on.

Three hours later:
Okay, so I just couldn't wait to start...as I promised  here is my second card, I am so passionate about this cause I may even make three more... depends on time.

This tag says Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
I am happy to say that my envelopes are complete and I have both cards complete and ready to ship in the morning!
I wanted to do more cards but I've been busy as a bee and not well on top of it... I hope we can do this again in the near future, I would love to make every woman that has endured this violence know how much I care and I would love to create a small memory for them even if it is just a smile knowing someone thought of them.

Naomi, thank you SO MUCH for including our hop on your blog and even more for your contribution to our cause. Like you, I was surprised by how this hop would impact participants. I know I can speak for the ladies on the line-up when I say the influence our hop has been to others has left a profound impression on our hearts. Your first card is perfect, I can't wait to come back and see the second!

May God bless you richly!
