Way to Go!

Hey! I am dropping in with another project done by Christina and I! I had so much fun learning new techniques and putting them to use to create this beautiful card.
Christina and Griff are leaving today so it is sad in one way yet I appreciate getting to know them on a more personal level, we had a fabulous 2 weeks together sharing a lot of laughter and joy, if you would like to follow us on this wonderful journey just go to Christina's blog here and back track the wonderful days spent with us getting to explore the beautiful  PEI! which is short for Prince Edward Island.... they are the most beautiful souls I have ever met and would have them in my home any time.
Christina has taught me many new techniques and I am excited to start playing around and see what I can do with them. Today I want to share a technique using Specturm Noir Pens.

Coloring with Spectrum Noir Pens

As I told you Christina spoiled me something fierce, I didn't hear of Spectrum Noir Pens and Christina had bought four sets for me... I am totally in....... hook line and sinker...We used these pens to color different digtals, one that Christina had bought at Mo's Digital Pencil....she also brought her own Spectrum Noir Pens to give me first hand experience on how to use them.. I followed her every move as you could imagine.
These pens have many uses, you can use them to color an image, white ribbon or pearls and much more I am sure... here I am showing you how to use them on acetate paper which is the background I used in the photo using acetate paper, blending ink pad  and alcohol ink, Christina will be posting a video tutorial very soon and I will be sure to leave the link for you, it is amazing!!!! See for yourself!

Isn't she cute!!!! I am in love with her! I used my new Grand Calibur to make the flowers, eeeeeeek! The background doesn't show up so well in this photo but trust me it is gorgeous showing a blend of  blue's reds and pinks....as for this adorable digital it is my first coloring job with the Spectrum Noir Pens and although I don't have the right paper I am very pleased with the results.

I am sorry about the blurred image, the sentiment is from "Ticket Talk" Cards TV, it is embossed and then I used double sided tape, place it over the sentiment and finally added glass beads. They are so tiny!!! Yet another product and technique learned from Christina!

Later next week I am setting up my scrapbooking room in my back porch and will be blogging and showing pictures as it progresses, I am so excited! Once my room is up I will be back full time , I can't wait! Have a fantastic day and I hope to catch up with all you!
