HIMCR #61 - Color Challenge

Hello, I am so excited you came to visit my blog today!

I love to participate in Challenges and today I am making a card to link up over at "Hiding in my Craft room"  if you have been following me you know I refer to Laurie as Super Mom!
Visit Laurie's blog HERE! AND YES by all means link up, Laurie would love to see your projects!

At the beginning of every month Laurie has a Color Challenge , this month the colors are Mustard, Cajun Craze and Garden Green! Once I sorted through my supplies and found I have papers close to these colors I was on my way to make a card.

Supplies:

Green Burlap (Time4Crafts)
Orangy Burlap (Time4Crafts)
Cabin Stamp (Michael's Store)
Almohadilla de Tinta Ink Pad (Marvey)
Tulip Yellow (Designer Ink)
Scattered Straw Distress Ink (Tim Holtz)
White Embossing Powder (Recollections)
Green Specialty Cardstock (Stash)
White Cardstock (Stash)
Lace (Fabric Ville)
Paper Doileys (Dollar Store)
Quote stamps from stash  (???ebay)

Would you like to have the effect my image has??

I stamped the Cabin image 3 times on 3 separate pieces of white cardstock using these inks.
*Note*... make sure all three papers are the same size.
  1. Almohadilla de Tinta  (First inked image)
  2. Scattered Straw Distress Ink  (2nd inked image)
  3.  Tulip Yellow (3rd inked image)
1st inked image.  used my paper cutter to cut part of the image out on the left side.
2nd inked image - I cut two sides away because I needed the middle piece.
3rdinked image -- cut away on the right side.

Now the trick here is to make the cuts in thirds, the measurements will depend on what size of stamp you use, the three cut images will be placed in exact postition to make one complete image.

If anyone can tell me what effect this image has I will give you a Halloween  Digital Stamp that hasn't been released yet ,it is sooooooo cute!!! Just email me with "Effect" in the Subject line at jerri255@eastlink.ca

 Have a fantastic day!!!
