We'll weather it together

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend, I got to go ski-doo riding across Prince Edward Island and found it exhilarating! We had the perfect day for it, the sun was out and it made the snow glisten and trees looked spectacular!

Today I am showing you a card I made from my new kit that I bought from

Here is what the kit looks like and I had so much fun with it! My introduction to this kit was from the amazingly talented Julie over at

Julie is now part of their amazing design team and she has been an  inspiration and my biggest supporter since I started blogging, oh yes she watched me blossom, lol

Through Fresh Baked Bakery I found my favorite stamp store EVER!!!!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps
I will be facing more challenges other than making cards, this is going to be a huge test of keeping myself below my monthly budget for crafting because I am crazy about these stamps and already feel I have no control... I think I can , I think I can... hehe!

I added their button to my sidebar if you would like to hop on over to see what they have... here are the ones I bought so far!!!

Here is my card!!! Everything is from the We'll Weather it Together Kit except the fairy stamp that was given to me by the lovely Christina over at Flowers Ribbon's and Pearls. Christina just opened her new shop and is selling Homemade Blending Tools and her stunning hat pins!!! I have the Blending tools and they are amazing, they also come with felt..to learn more about these visit Christina by clicking the link above!!!

I stamped the umbrella unto 4 different pieces of patterened paper and cut sections out to piece it together. I inked the edges with Antique blue ink along with stamping the raindrops. The ribbon like paper under the button is just two strips of paper crumpled and inked and cut banner style!!

Share my excitement, isn't these stamps the cat's meow!!!!!

Have a terrific Day!!!!
(I did this post on 2 hours sleep, poor Mikey was up all night with a tooth ache, the x-ray shows that he has a tooth underneath pushing it's way up, the upper tooth is not even loose yet so there must be a lot of pressure. We had lots of cuddling and he is much better this morning.)

Aww, I'm so glad he's feeling a little better now! Poor thing. I'm sending him extra love! Your card is gorgeous, Naomi! I particularly love the paper piecing of the umbrella.. it is stunning! The stamp is truly beautiful and I can see why you're so excited! :o) Your happiness shows through your creation. :o) Wonderful details throughout this encouragement card, my dear friend! Regarding pocket cards, there are about a billion tutorials out there for varying styles! Splitcoast Stampers has a few. My favorite is actually the double diagonal pocket fold, but I don't have any large sheets of paper that fit the card themes I made. When I make a flowery one, I'll be all set! Google pocket cards and you'll get a ton of options and you can pick your favorite. :o) I had to go basic since I was working with 6x6 sheets of DP. I love you oodles, my dear friend!

Hugs and blessings!

I do hope Michael's tooth has settled, poor mite, anything to do with teeth hurt.
You have been super busy in creating, I love the paper piecing, just brilliant Naomi. The kit looks fabulous and I love how you used it. The paper ribbon is awesome (what a great idea), and I really like how it crinkles like a real ribbon would. Enjoy being creative Naomi, it is good for the soul, keeps you out of mischief....

Have I told you I am doing my family history? Oh wait till you see some of the photographs....I've been looking for 'you'. HA!
