Mother's Day Card (Mini book embellishment!)

Happy Wednesday!!!!

So heads up! I am running on 2 hours sleep and if things are written backwards or inside out you know why, LOL  I am in the giddy stage.
Michael seems to be getting worse not better, I on the other hand am much better, thank you for all your amazing support and get well wishes!!!
I asked Michael today what year he was born, his reply was:
" 2003 was my first appearance" hahahahahaha  love it!

Today I am showing you a Mother's Day Card, I plan on making at least 4 more and join challenges, something I haven't done too much but I am getting better at it! This card I am entering into
monthly Challenge, this month the theme is
"Mother's Day"

Last week a friend of mine "Christina" from Flowers, Ribbons and Pearls made a mini book embellishment for her card and I fell in love with the idea and had to try it out. All I did was cut 5 pieces of the Spellbinders small scalloped square... I folded each in half and then opened to create the crease for the middle of the book...I stamped with my wooden writing block, inked the edges and added a piece of string (frayed at the end) as a bookmark... I also put recollections small pearls down the center.  View the close up view below, I will be making more of these!

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts , I used lace stickles on them to give them a little sparkle

All lace and bling used  is from Recollections

Have a fantastic day!!!!
