Hello and welcome to the final release in our Feeling Frosty event. It is still rather frosty over here in Canada and many other parts of the world. It doesn't help that BOTH Punxsutawney Phil (US) and Wiarton Willie (CDN) saw their shadows on Ground Hog Day. I don't think I can take another six weeks of this weather. I haven't been out of the house since the last week of December and won't be emerging this rate until spring!
Well at least one frosty session is coming to an end with this final new release in the collection.
Snowden is such a happy fellow. While we may not be pleased that the groundhogs saw their shadows, Snowden is certainly thrilled as you can tell from the expression on his face. Six more weeks of snow means six more weeks of vacation on the East coast before he has to head home to the Arctic. There isn't a whole lot to do up there, nothing compared to the activities taking place in communities along the East coast. Snowden is really hoping he'll have a chance to visit the ice hotel in Quebec before he heads home as well. Six more weeks gives him plenty of time to do a bit more sightseeing.
You can find Snowden for purchase in the Seasonal section over in the store. Clicking HERE will take you to the page he is located on.
Now let's check out what three of our DT came up with to showcase Naomi's wonderful new snowman...
Greetings from Monica and Snowden. Monica has gone with a great colour scheme and layout to show off this frosty fellow. Great die cut, texture and sentiment label too. You
can check
out all the details of Monica's card by visiting her blog, TaylorMade 4U.
Can you imagine seeing a snowman out partying somewhere? Well, I can and so did Judith. Snowden is certainly set for some fun. I believe that he might be headed to a Winter Luau. He is certainly dressed the part, isn't he!!! You
can check
out all the details of Judith's card by visiting her blog, Judith's Adorable Creations.
Suze has a way with monochromatic cards and this one is no exception. Even though Snowden is surrounded by blues he certainly doesn't have the blues. In fact, he looks rather dapper in the colour. Pretty lace and a great sentiment round out this creation from Suze. You can
check out the
details of this creation over on her blog, Craftysuze.
Sneak peek guesses...
Now, it is your chance to win a copy of the latest new release...
Once again you have the opportunity to win a copy of Naomi's newest
release. In order to have your name in the running to win a copy of Snowden, I want to know, if a snowman was able to participate at the Winter Olympics, what would be the ultimate sport he should compete in and why? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the subject. Leave a comment ON THIS POST by noon
on February 11th, in order to have your chance at winning this
image.
Winners will be announced Feb. 12th during our next new release!
In case you didn't catch that, the next new release will be out next Wednesday, not in two weeks time on a Thursday. We've got some changes coming up again. I'll explain them all on Saturday during the next sneak peek. For now it is time to announce the winner of the last new release. I had wanted to know, what is your favourite winter sport? While most of you are spectators, not participants, it was interesting finding out the kinds of winter sports you like best. Four of you shared with me and the answers were almost as varied with skating--both figure and speed, tobogganing and even bobsledding. I happen to enjoy watching all those sports in addition to downhill skiing, luge, ski jumping, curling, skeleton, snowboarding, etc. Yup, go figure, I hate the winter but love watching all the winter sports. Now if I only had time to actually fit them in and watch them. However, given that the Olympics are just about to begin I better find some time. Thank goodness for DVRs because when it comes to the Winter Olympics, I don't want to miss a thing! Now enough about that, time to tell you who won a copy of the last new release, Shiver...
Kimberly, please contact me by clicking HERE with the subject heading 'Shiver' to get your copy. Like I mentioned above, it might take me a few days to get back to you, so I appreciate your patience.

Okay, it is time for one last snow themed joke...
Q: How do you know if there's a snowman in your bed?
A: You wake up wet!
As I mentioned above, there are some changes about to happen and I'll be sharing them with you during the sneak peek post on Saturday. At that time, I'll also be showing you all a snippet of the next new release coming out. We are about to start a brand new collection and I hope you will come back to check it out. See you Saturday, unless of course I get lost watching the Olympics....

Oh, that's so generous - thank you, Lisa! I will email you in a bit - that's a great sentiment! I love Snowden - what a cutie - and I also love the beautiful cards your DT made to showcase him.
Now for your question. I think the snowman's ultimate sport would be figure skating. Why - because he could show just how graceful he can be and would surprise all of us with his triple Axel.
Have a great day, Lisa - and thanks for a bit of fun today!
Tobogganing or skiing. Why, because they are naturals at sliding down. Edwina Brown
Thanks for sharing your wonderful projects.
Thanks for your generosity.
Snowden would be right at home here today.
We had a big snowstorm that closed schools early {we stayed until all our kiddos were safely home}
AND we get a full snow day tomorrow!!!!
A snowman would be wonderful at snowboarding I think...

Just had to share.
Ohhhhhh these are just ADORABLE!! LOVING that snowman!!!!!
I think snowmen sold be allowed in. I think snowboarding would be just the thing. Can you imagine Frosty out that with Shaun White. I think it would be pretty cool plus he would have all year to practice.
