Thank you Card

Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Fridays, usually because I get to have Michael home but he has been home with me all week fighting a cold... he only lost one night's sleep and we have been happy go lucky since.
My friend Coralee has landed on the Island today for a home visit and guess where she is staying!!!!!!!!!  Yep!!! right here and I am so excited. (Can't you tell!!!!)

Today I am sharing a card I made to thank a very special lady, she was Michael's Teacher Assistant last year but since the car accident she has been driving Michael back and forth to school. I want her to know that she is very much appreciated.

I hand drew the flower and stamped it with a wooden cloud pattern and inked it around the edges with Tim Holtz Black Distress ink, I crumpled it and also lightly inked over the top then added a flower in the middle.

I would have said more about how I made the card but my friend just called and is on her way right now!!!!!!!!! eeeek!

Have a fabulous weekend!!!!!

I have a DT project scheduled for tomorrow , hope it works!!!

HUGS

My dear Naomi, this is such a sweet card for such a special person! :o) She is going to treasure this and be so thankful for your gesture. :o) Every element is so pretty and that flower is AMAZING. I adore that delicate trim, too.. so many things that work so beautifully together. :o) I'm so excited that you get to spend lots of quality time with your friend this weekend! YAY! I'm sure there will be a constant smile on your face. :o) Your heart is so gorgeous and she is blessed to have you in her life. :o) (And thank you for that sweet comment... it meant a lot to me, particularly because I felt so depleted upon finally finishing all my heart envisioned this month. I pray the Sotos like the minis as much as you.) I am hugging you so tight right now... so blessed, so thankful, and so honored to share our crafty journeys together. God bless you and all you love, my dear friend.

Hugs and blessings!

Gorgeous card Naomi, such a sweet flower and the torn paper looks fabulous - I haven't done that for so long, must do so. Thanks for the inspiration ...xx

P.S I just spied on your side-bar a link badge to my blog! You're a clever girly ... it looks fabulous what you have done Naomi. Your design work is amazing, I'd drown in something like HTML - only know basics (enough to get me through blogging).
