1st Card

How to make this card

For the base I made a card 5 1/2" by 7 1/2" with white card stock, I cut corners with my Envelope Punch then inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Black Distress Ink.
Next I cut red card stock t@ 5 2/8" by 7 2/8" (Scroll down to understand measurements)
Black card stock @ 5" by 6 1/2"
White (embossed with floral embossing folder)  @ 4 6/8" by  6 2/8"

Next I cut two intricate dies using the Cricut," Cindy Lou Cartridge" in two colors , red and  turquoise, I overlapped them slightly to make a drop shadow and adhered them together and inked with Black Distress Ink, I cut them down the center and put them on an angle as shown in the picture.

Is she sexy or is she sexy!!!! I love this digital stamp from Kenny K, what man wouldn't want to receive a card like this!!!
I printed the digital image and cut it out using Spellbinder's Nestabilites" Romantic Rectangles"
I colored her using prima pencils and used Glossy Accents to make the jacket , boots and motorcycle shine.

To make the ticket I used "Ticket Talk 2" from Cards TV Stamps
Finally I added flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and leaves from Tim Holtz  leaves diecut.

2nd Card

This card is for a very special friend of mine, we are inseparable and I love her to the moon and back.

The adorable digital stamp I used is from Bugaboo, another one of our sponsors this month!

Crash Course on Measurements

To understand the measurements here is a crash course: if you are a beginner you will benefit from this.

I don't know if all score boards are measured the same, I have the Martha Stewart version ,
Each notch is 1/8"  and it is also measured in inches.

As an example to help you understand   I scored at 5 5/8" (in the image below)
This means I counted up 5 notches from 5 " which is just a notch past 5 1/2 "mark.
To help understand a little further
Just remember that 4/8ths is half and inch
and
8/8ths is an inch

So come on over , link up and join the challenge!!!! There is a new challenge every 1st and 3rd Monday and there are always prizes to be won!

Have a fantastic day
